I’m pleased to report that the first chapter of the novel that I’m writing, now titled Anna, has been shortlisted in the 20th century category of the Historical Novel Society First Chapters Contest. The HNS 2026 First Chapters Competition Overall Winner will be announced at the 2026 HNS Conference in Maynooth, Ireland, on 22 August, 2026.
